About Me:

My name is Seema, a mother and a wife who is always encouraged by two sons and their dad to do what most Asian females dare to do.  I am a free lance photographer, a poet and a blogger.  I see things through the lens of my camera that others may not see, express things via my poetry and blogs in simple language.

In the beginning of this site development, I didn’t have a target theme or content to show here but then I said to myself why limiting to only one thing when all three of my passions are common with one thing – Nature – so everything here will revolve around nature in some form or fashion.

Which led me to write about Malala.

Not too long ago I saw Malala Yousafzai’s interview on Jon Stewart show and it gave me goose bumps of how courageous this young girl is, hence came the following food for thought of the day.  I came across somewhere on internet when someone asked would you vote for her if she will ever run to be a politician?

Although, this young lady is a real inspiration to all of us, but I will not vote for her just because, 1) she will need one heck of a security system around her in that country; 2) when she gets married, her husband will not stand her being in the driving seat, considering the culture. No matter how open minded and educated Asian men are, they just cannot stand their woman to be ahead of them.

Instead I would like her to best utilize her courage and talent to be a motivational speaker/educational person – a better platform for her to bring awareness of  importance of education for women, not just in Pakistan but all over the world.  Infant’s first teacher is his mother – educate women and world will see great politician.

I will stop here for us to ponder more !!!
